My writing journey started when I received a journal for my tenth birthday. My words accumulated into short stories, rhymes and journal entries. After attending a poetry slam event, I began writing spoken word poetry.
One thing remains true: poetry can be very personable, inviting and sacred. Hence, our slogan is Poetry Starts Here, which refers to your heart, one of the deepest parts of your soul. Writing comes from the depth of the heart. I may not know where your journey began or if it's yet to begin.
But there's one thing I've learnt. There is a person behind every poem, lyric or song ever written - and a story behind each individual.
I hope this little corner of the internet gives you the confidence to start that book, finish that project or even write again.
